i know they're "just" film clips, but they just happen to be made by Ilford and harken back to a period when things were made by costlier/better means. their quality is evident as soon as you pick them up; all shiny metal construction with thick chunks of lead to aid in weighing down the film strip as it dries. utilitarian in design, they are little mini works of art. don't know how old they are, but they sure aren't being made anymore. sadly, most film clips these days are made of cheap plastic along with a high markup. sign 'o the times... bleah...
